Secret #4 Focus your mind and intention like a 100 Megawatt laser

As in Secret #3, there are other nutrients that your body and brain use to make to make similarly useful neurotransmitters.

There's also a neurotransmitter called 'acetylcholine', which serves a great many beneficial functions.

In your brain, it

  • Increases your ability to focus, based on your conscious intent.

It even aids people who are seemingly incapable of any kind of focus, like those with attention deficit disorder (ADD). Focused attention is an essential effect to being irresistible both long and short term. For instance, those with ADD often experience in poor relationships. The more you can focus your attention, the more you can consciously effect people in a mutually beneficial manner. Also, the more attention you have, the more aware you'll be of what you're focused on -- that attention on objects or potential objects of your affection pays big dividends.

  • Enhances your mind's ability to arrange and organize.

This helps things like writing and programming to an unbelievable extent.

But even in non-work or non-production type scenarios, this helps a lot. For someone who's aim is to be irresistible, I've found that it can lower the incidence of stuttering. I've never had a true stuttering problem... but occasionally, I've felt myself getting so worked up -- either out of excitement or anxiety -- that things just come out too quick and I stumble over my own words. But after having higher in vivo concentrations of acetylcholine, I am able to express myself very smoothly and fluidly. It's akin to getting a pleasant flow of water from a faucet, rather than an intermittent flow, with unpleasant stops and messy spurts.

  • Enhances your memory.

This is good for more than putting a name with a face. That's nice, yes. But a good memory also means you'll be better at being entertaining and fun to be around, in general. Much humor relies on being able to remember discretely absurd things which you can weave into conversations, or make even more absurd connections with.

In your body, it

  • Creates muscle tone.

Muscle tone is a chemical function, dictated by... you guessed it... acetylcholine. In fact, body builders use it for just this reason. Do you think most of them give a flying shit about bettering their memory?

Of course, you need a noticeable amount of muscle for this enhancement in tone to really have any visual affect, but still...

  • Increases the peristalsis (wave like motions) in your body... including those of your esophagus and colon.

Provided you have enough fiber in your diet, this aids you in bettering the health of your waste elimination system.

The precursors -- meaning that stuff that it's made from -- to acetylcholine, are choline and Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid). When the two substances are together, they do a little reactionary tango and form acetylcholine.

Dosage varies. You don't want too take too much of these precursors at once. Too much can hike your rate of 'peristalsis' up so much that you get diarrhea, or even increase your muscle tone so much that it aches. No matter what, you don't want to exceed 3 grams of choline intake per day.

The maximum of 3 grams per day, in fact, is what many students at MIT take daily to sharpen their little genius brains. For me, 1 gram is enough to feel focused. I take a little more when I have to work... gradually throughout the day. Never begin at 3 grams. Start low -- maybe a half a gram a day -- and work your way up.

Now, when you combine choline with pantothenic acid, you'll want to take about half as much pantothenic acid. So, if you're taking 1 gram of choline a day, you'd take 500 mg of pantothenic acid. If you eventually worked your way up to 3 grams, you'd take 1500 mg of pantothenic acid.

The easiest and most reliable way of to experience the benefits of this nutrient is to use Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw's version of it. They have a single product based around these nutrients. It's called 'Memory Fuel', comes in the form of an easy to take 'smart drink', and it's even cheaper than the stuff described in Secret #3. Last time I checked, it was about $20 for a two month supply -- assuming you're taking a single gram dose of choline per day.

Now, unlike smart nutrients that rely on amino acids, there is no need to take these nutrients on an empty stomach. Like anything, the effects are a little more pronounced if you do -- but I'll often eat immediately after taking choline supplementation.

I take my initial daily dose in the morning with the nutrient combination in Secret #3 (which means, of course, that I do wait to eat, so the nutrients in #3 can work their juju). It's not only convenient to do so, it's also a wonderfully synergistic combination.

Secret #3, you could say, greatly EXPANDS your energy, and your presence of being. It's like you're a 150 watt light bulb, instead of a 75 or 60 (or lower, if you're often depressed).

Increasing the amount of acetylcholine in your brain is like CONCENTRATING the energy you get from #3. If you know anything about lasers, you know that the amount of light they use isn't much more than what a light bulb produces. The POWER of a laser comes from the CONCENTRATION of small amounts of light. Coherence. Light particles all lined up and focused toward a single purpose.

In a very real way, combining this secret and Secret #3 is like both pumping up the your energy or presence (in this metaphor, your 'light'), and super focusing it -- thus making you something like a laser. A powerful, focused person who's intention shoots holes straight through the resistance of others!
